Lab data
Runtz Cake potency: THC and CBD from 51 lab tests
In only 51 state lab tests, a small sample, Runtz Cake flower had a median total THC of 20.00%, with the middle half of results between 19.00% and 21.00%.1 The tests come from one producer in Washington, tested by one lab between March and April 2023; all 51 tests that reported CBD found none, and none of the 51 tests reported individual terpene values, so there is no terpene profile.1
Small sample: only 51 matched tests. Treat the figures on this page as indicative, not definitive.1
THC distribution
Total THC across 51 tests
THC by year
All 51 matched tests are from 2023, so there is no trend to show.1
THC by state
Only Washington has 10 or more matched tests (51, median 20.00%); every test comes from that state.1
Terpene profile
None of the 51 matched tests report individual terpene values (the labs and states in this sample report none or only a total), so there is no terpene profile to show.1

How published THC figures compare
Strain databases disagree. Leafly lists 18% THC (and 1% CBG), AllBud 22–24%, and GrowDiaries also lists 22–24%, with an average of 23% and 0.1% CBD; Weedmaps gives no figure.2,3,4,5 Leafly’s pages for the two strains bred from Runtz Cake give averages around 22%.6,7
In our small lab sample, the middle 80% of results fell between 18.00% and 22.00%; 47 of the 51 tests came in at 18% or more, 10 at 22% or more, and the highest single result was 25.00%. Leafly’s 18% sits below the middle half of our results, and AllBud’s 22–24% describes the top of this sample rather than a typical result.1 Because every test comes from one Washington producer’s lots between March and April 2023, these figures describe that grower’s flower, not Runtz Cake everywhere.1

Limits of this data
- Coverage is as narrow as it gets: one producer and one lab supplied every test, between March and April 2023, on 4 test days. Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.1
- With one lab behind every result, these figures cannot be compared across labs, and some labs report higher THC than others; we publish medians and middle ranges rather than maxima. Every result in this sample is a whole percentage point, so the median and middle half are round numbers.1
- Terpenes: none of the 51 tests reported individual terpene values (Washington labs report none), so no terpene profile appears anywhere in this guide. CBD: all 51 tests that reported CBD found none.1
- We matched names strictly: no results under near-miss names turned up, 2 results whose strain field and product name disagree were left out, and duplicate certificates are removed.1
