Energizing or sleepy?
Mostly calming, after a lift. Leafly places Runtz Cake on the calming side of its scale and says reviewers mention feeling sleepy and hungry, while AllBud and GrowDiaries describe an uplifted, creative start before the relaxation, and AllBud says it can turn sedative.1,2,3 Both parents are rated mostly calming on Leafly: Wedding Cake’s top effects are relaxed, aroused and hungry, and White Runtz’s tingly, relaxed and euphoric.5,6
Why two batches can feel different
Our lab sample cannot show how much growers differ: all 51 tests come from one Washington producer. Even within that, the middle 80% of results ran from 18.00% to 22.00% THC and every result fell between 16.00% and 25.00%.7 Between growers there is more room for difference: sources disagree on the flavor and on who bred it, and Weedmaps gives more than one account of White Runtz’s own parents, so two jars sold as Runtz Cake may not come from the same plant (see genetics).1,2,4,8
